In term of Charles’ Law explain why -273 °C is the lowest possible temperature ?



Answer -

The temperature -273°C (or 0 K) is known as absolute zerotemperature. Below this temperature, a substance cannot exist as a gas andchanges to the liquid state. This means that the Charles’ Law can be appliedonly upto a temperature – 273°C since a substance fails to exist as gas belowthis temperature.
