Activities that facilitate exchange of goods and services arereferred to as auxiliaries to trade. Two examples are:

1. Banking and Finance: Funds are necessary for acquiringassets, purchasing raw materials and also to meet other expenses. These fundscan be obtained from a bank. Therefore, banking helps business activities tomeet the required funds.

2. Advertising: It is an important component of marketing thatinvolves promotion of products, and accurate promotion only helps reachpotential viewers that will result in sales.
