In the figure, AB ⊥ BE, FE ⊥ BE
BC = DE, AB = EF,
then CD + BC = CD + DE BD = CE
In ∆ABD and ∆CEF,
BD = CE (Prove)
AB = FE (Given)
∠B = ∠E (Each 90°)
∴ ∆ABD ≅ ∆FCE (b)
