Question -

Find the area of a quadrilateral ABCD in which AB = 3 cm, BC = 4 cm, CD 4 cm, DA = 5 cm and
AC = 5 cm.

Answer -

Area of quadrilateral ABCD = Area of Δ ABC + Area of Δ ACD
In Δ ABC,
We have, AB = 3 cm, BC = 4 cm, CA = 5 cm
Therefore, AB2 + BC2 = 32 +42 = 9 +16 = 25 = (5)2 = CA2
