It is a very important issue, because in the eyes of the constitution all are equal. Hence, they should be given equal rights over their parents’ property.

Yes, in our neighbourhood there are several women who own property.

  1. Some of them have purchased property themselves.
  2. Some got the property registered in their name by their husbands/inlaws.
  3. Some have got the property inherited from their father.
